Single Jersey Fabric

Jersey is a single-knit cotton fabric that is known for its stretch and softness. Because of how jersey is knit, there is a natural elasticity without using stretch fibers like elastane. You can recognize jersey as the fabric used to make your favorite cotton tee-shirts.

• This fabric is much warm, flexible, stretchy, and wear to comfort
• It extends width-wise; extensibility in width-wise is approximately twice than length.
• This is the fabric most often used to make T-shirts.
• This fabric can be made either from cotton or from a blend of cotton and synthetic fiber.
